Awake at 4 am

It is 4am and I sadly am awake. Poor little Bear had a poo poo accident. "I didn't make it to the duckie potty in time, mama." Unfortunately the underwear was on and so there was quite a mess to clean up. So needless to say it took a little bit to clean up I am not able to go back to sleep quite yet. I would love to go and read myself to sleep right now, but I don't think Josh would take kindly to the bright light :). Instead, I decided to write myself to sleep, so don't hold me accountable for any of the things I jot down early this am!

Both of the kids have a cold, they came down with it on Thursday. I am happy to report both are doing well! Little Bubbas seems to be handling this one pretty good and I haven't had to get the nebulizer out or make any emergency doctor's appointments for him. I really wonder if having the adenoids out have helped him through this or if he is starting to be handle colds better? Just have to see, whatever it is I am just so glad he is functioning at a positive level! Bear is doing well too, a mild fever and drippy nose. All of which seems to be worse than it is due to 3 year old dramatics!

Today (well, okay I guess yesterday now) was the day I was supposed to take Easter pictures. I have had this scheduled out now for a couple of weeks so I would get it done. I hesitated not taking the pictures because of drippy noses, but Bear proclaimed she was all better when it came to going to Nana & Beepa's house or not going. So...off we went! I figured mom and dad had already been exposed to this lovely cold so a little more snot slinging wasn't going to hurt anyone, plus had their permission :).
The pictures went well. I didn't think I had gotten any cute shots but when I got home to download them I was pleasantly surprised. I quickly edited some in photoshop to hand out on Easter and am excited to delve into those and others to do more effects on them in photoshop.

Easter is a gamble this year. Hopefully we can make it due to the kids being sick. So sad if we can't. I love to watch all the little cousins hunting for the chocolate (oops, I meant the eggs) in their Easter duds.

Ok, think I can go to sleep now. Feel like my eyelids are starting to droop.

Toodles!
