I decided to put this picture up this am because it really sounded wonderful! I took it on top of Diamond Head in Oahu way back in 2002. Ahh, I can just imagine my Mai Tai now while lounging in the very comfy lounge chairs on the beach reading my book.
But, back to reality. Yeah! I just finished my 3rd workout for the week! I had to get up early this morning to do it though, let me tell you 5:30am was a bit early for me! It is always weird when I do it because when I come back to the house at 7am everyone is still asleep. I think you just automatically think since you are awake and moving, everyone else will be as well :). So, thought I would take advantage and catch up with the blog.
Bubbas had a break from therapy on Monday because he was sick and then no therapy yesterday either. I wasn't sure what to do with myself and the kids! Non-structured days for 2 days! I was jumping with joy! It was so wonderful, went to the gym during the day when I wanted...went to the bookstore and browsed...got to have a picnic lunch with the kids...etc. etc. Needless to say, I had a great time!
Back to business today. Bubbas has his checkup doctor's appointment today at 9:30am. Then quick back to home for Polly (OT) to work with Bubbas. Then Safeway.com should be bringing me my groceries that I got with free delivery (why go when they bring it to me for free!), then off to my niece's 3rd birthday party at 2:30. Busy day!
Last night was my turn for a few hours off. Jenn and I share a love for burgers. We have found that we are both the same when it comes to restaurants. We both order the burger wherever we go! So, we are trying out each other's favorite burger place. Last night was Jenn's. We went to Outback. It was a great burger! Highly recommend it for all you hamburger aficionados. French fries were good too, think In-N-Out style. Next, I am taking her to one of my favorite burger places. Squeeze Inn-squeeze cheese with bacon please (as Josh affectionately calls it!). It is such a dive, but ohhh is it good! I always tell Josh for dates, don't take me to the fancy dancy places-just the down to earth homey food is exactly what I love! I always was a cheap date!
To change the subject real quick...I saw a sign that I thought was hilarious on the way to Easter dinner this year. I wanted to stop to take a picture to post, but wasn't able to. It is such Nimmer humor. The sign was for a mobile home park. The mobile home park was called "Roll-A-Home Mobile Home Park". I thought it was absolutely hilarious! I can just imagine the folks that live there saying to each other, "Hey honey, let's roll-a-home now, it's getting late." I know Josh, right now you are really embarrassed that your wife thinks this is hilarious, but I just have one thing to say to you honey..."I hop to IHOP" Ha! Love ya babe!
Toodles!
