I have to say the train ride by far trumped the Boardwalk. It was very cool. We sat in the front car behind the steam engine. The car had no roof on it so you were really exposed. Josh even had a redwood tree bump him! Anyway, this train took you up into the deep woods into places you couldn't hike to. It was simply beautiful. If you ever get a chance to do this you won't be sorry.
It is called the Roaring Camp railroad. I haven't downloaded my pictures yet of us on the train ride. When I do I will share even though it can't quite convey the beauty of it.
Back to the routine of this today. Bubbas had PT and Speech today. He usually has an Infant Specialist as well, but she went on vacation to Australia. Pretty cool. So she will be gone for a month. He did well in PT today which was awesome but not so good in Speech. He still has his cold and the mucus makes him regress to stage 1 foods. So, when we were trying some more chunky things he just threw them up. Josh was trying to give him some chunky things for dinner too and he did the same poor little guy. Hopefully he will be feeling better so I can get him to eat more than the Brown Cow Yogurts I give him
Bear had a fun time hanging out with Nana today, this was their day together while Bubbas has lots of therapy. They went to visit my grandma. She loves my grandma's dog Daisy and the parrot who lives in the Senior Living Apartments there. Great Grandma also treated her to lunch at her place and met her friends.
Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit this pm as well. We had our classic fare of In-N-Out Burger. Grandma also brought lots of neat things for Bubbas to play with that will help him with his vision. Bear thinks they are pretty cool too. I have to admit I was pretty darn addicted to the light box as well
My eyes suddenly got sleepy so I am going to hit the hay. Early night for me, but am still trying to recoup from camping. Fun stuff!
Toodles!

Sounds like fun, glad you guys had a nice weekend away:) Love reading your thoughts...I will pray the cold will leave you all alone! We are still healing over here as it has made it's way through us all, minus the Baby, thankfully.
Wow! Your pics really rock! So I awarded you little missy with a "You Make My Day Award" on my blog - because you do - and because I love reading your blog and hearing about the adventures of Bear and Bubbas! So thanks for the great blog!
