We woke up and had a relaxing morning. Hung out a little bit more and then sadly had to move on. We were driving to Coos Bay, Oregon which was about 4 hours away. Said our goodbyes, promised Kristin to write about successes in parenting :) in the blog for her to check out, I promised to share my flops because that is what I do more :) and then off we went!
The drive to Coos Bay was simply gorgeous. Many small towns nestled in the deep Oregon woods. Lots of logging mills around as well. Those were pretty fascinating to check out from the road. We made it to our destination (Sunset Bay State Beach) about 7 that night. Mom and Dad brought over a pizza after they checked into their hotel that was pretty yummy! Josh, Bears, Nana & Beepa decided to take an evening stroll to the beach. Bubbas and I opted to stay in the trailer because we both weren't feeling the best. We were quite happy snuggled under the warm comforter reading and playing with toys. It was pretty cold outside!
After the troops came back we played a rousing game of Skip Bo in which my dad won. Cracked me up because every one was teasing him because his method of playing was completely wrong and he kept touting to just wait because he was going to win. Well, he was right! Pretty funny. The parents headed off to their hotel and we hunkered in for the night. Time to get good sleep because tomorrow was going to bring...dune buggying! So exciting. Toodles!

Coos Bay is one of our most favorite places! We used to drive the Oregan Coast a lot in college and that was our most favorite place to stop:) Looks like you all had a fun time!
