Oregonpalooza Day 6!

After our busy day the day before, we all slept in and had a good breakfast. I was determined to take Bears to the beach by our campground for her to build her sandcastles she had been talking about since we left. The only bummer part was that it was COLD! Let me tell you, it was really bone chilling cold and on top of that a crazy wind. But, the determined person I am, Bears and I set off for the beach. We walked through a tunnel in which she thought monsters lived and then through a pretty patch of grass with flowers growing in it until we reached the beach. I had brought some plastic cups for her to build the sandcastles with. We were both cold, but we were also both determined to build us some sandcastles! So, had enough time to build a couple of castles before the coldness chased us out! Back through the grassy field, through the tunnel and back to the 5th wheel all ready for us to go on our next leg of adventure.
We headed south down the Oregon coast on 101 and it was beautiful! We weren't sure where we were going to stop for the night and left it up in the air. We were on the road many hours and then stopped for lunch in the 5th wheel at this pretty spot. What a great view, huh! It is pretty neat to be on the road, stop, get out and into the trailer and have it feel like home while making lunch for everyone while the world goes by. I don't know, just kinda cool. This happened to be a vista point in a State Park that we stopped at.

Back onto the road for several more hours, crossed the California border and then we saw the sign for the Trees of Mystery. They were closed and we really wanted to see them, so we headed down to the Klamath River RV Park, which was beautiful, for the night. Josh grilled us up some more burgers and got some shut eye.

Toodles!
